Account deletion

How to delete your PlateShift account and associated data.

Option 1 (recommended): delete in the app

  1. Open PlateShift.
  2. Go to Profile → Account settings.
  3. Select Delete account and confirm.

Option 2: request deletion from support

If you can’t access the app, contact support and request account deletion. Include the email address tied to your account.

What gets deleted

  • Your profile and authentication record (where applicable).
  • Your saved recipes, folders, grocery lists, and related content stored with your account.

Processing time

We aim to process deletion requests within a reasonable time, typically within 30 days (often sooner), unless we need to retain certain information for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons.
